A Performance Poet, Teacher, Drama Practitioner and arts facilitator, Constance utilises Applied Theatre Therapy techniques to deliver dynamic and engaging multi-disciplinary arts programmes. With a Master's Degree in Applied Theatre and a Degree in Early Childhood Education, her academic credentials are impressive and acutely relevant to her work with Abela.

Born in Jamaica, Constance's extensive practical experience in the field of Arts Education has taken her across the globe. Youth projects in Hong Kong and New York are among the many that have benefitted from her keen ability to create therapeutic, creative and inclusive environments for learners. Thankfully, Constance is now resident in the UK and has continued to accrue a dizzying array of accolades with her work for Hackney Council, TARU Arts, Entelechy Arts, the Film and Video Umbrella and performance poetry organisation Apples & Snakes.

Feeding in to her education work, Constance also enjoys a flourishing career as a Singer and Performance Poet, her distinctive work earning her journalistic plaudits and allowing her to take her unique brand of culturally infused performance to both domestic and international audiences.
